Truck Center Companies placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the Nebraska Trucking Association's 'SuperTech' challenge held at Central Community College in Hastings, Nebraska on July 25th.  Jeff Schlecht is this year's SuperTech champion.  John Schure took 2nd place and Ray Wordekemper got 3rd place.  This state-wide competiton includes professional heavy duty diesel technicians from fleets, OEM dealers and independent shops.  The qualifying round is an online ASE-style test. The top 16 from the online test advanced to the hands-on skill stations final round. We are proud to say that 50% of those from the top 16 were our diesel techs.  And, of the eight skill stations our diesel techs won 50% of those.  Our station winners were Todd Timmerman, Jeff Schlecht and John Schure.  Also competing from TCC was Nick Guhde, Mike Paitz, Nick Scheel and Michael Volkmann.  That's total domination by our diesel techs and we are proud of them! What's more?  Jeff Schlecht will go to the National SuperTech competition in Orlando September 22-24 to represent Nebraska. He has two previous national championships under his belt.  We have a good feeling about this.  Good luck, Jeff, and congrats to all of our guys!
