Help us congratulate Justin Sitzmann for being selected as Freightliner/ASE Master Medium/Heavy Truck Technician of the year based on his outstanding performance on the ASE tests he renewed earlier this year. Justin will be recognized at the awards banquet in sunny Scottsdale, AZ later this year.

Justin was recently elected to help Daimler Trucks North America study standard repair time for the next generation Cascadia truck in Portland. It’s with great pride for Justin and Truck Center Companies that his input has made Daimler engineers redesign the front bumper mounting system in order to improve the Removal and Installation (R&I) procedure. They are currently running three new designs through mockup and prototype to decide which change would provide the easiest R&I process for the techs, yet provide adequate crash protection and remain durable for the life of the vehicle.
