Congratulations to the Loomis Wolves on their new alternative fuel school bus purchase!  Freightliner Custom Chassis, Powertrain Integration, and CleanFuel USA developed an 8.0L propane powered engine and 70 gallon fuel tank for use in the Thomas Built C2 chassis.  The GM gasoline engine platform does not require any additional emissions after treatment device, like its diesel counterpart, and the cleaner burning propane is currently much cheaper per gallon than diesel or gasoline.  The Wolves will be setting themselves apart from the pack this season. They’ll be riding in style for many seasons to come in their new Thomas Built Bus. Here’s to being green and saving some green all while staying true to their school colors!
