$10,000 Scholarship Awarded
Alex Sprague was awarded a TCC $10,000 diesel tech scholarship on Monday, April 20th at the York High School honors night. Alex was our first student to participate in the TCC high school internship program, where high school students enter the workforce to gain a greater understanding of materials taught in the classroom. Throughout his internship, Alex proved to be a highly motivated, skilled and dedicated individual. He exemplified exactly what we look for in employees. Alex will work full time at our TCC York dealership until he begins school in January at Southeast Community College in Milford.
TCC will assist Alex throughout his diesel technology program at SCC. After completion of his program, Alex will become a full-time diesel tech with us. He will participate in our 4-month Technician Acceleration Program where a small group of technicians work with TCC trainers to learn how to apply the education they received in their program to our dealership workforce.
